Welcome To The Website of Rodney L. Salvati
Welcome to my website. I have tried to include within the site enough information for you to decide whether or not I am the attorney you are looking for. What I have to offer is knowledge, experience and a personal touch. I am a goal oriented person. When I first meet a potential client my goal is to determine what the client wants and to find the best way to achieve that result. I can be sympathetic, aggressive, and at times, will tell you what you may not want to hear, but need to know. You will get straight talk from a person who is willing to listen and provide the best advice based upon knowledge and experience.
When I send a bill to a client for legal services there is no “fluff” in that bill – I bill only for the services I actually render.
I have extensive experience in the practice of law, as:
-
a prosecutor,
-
a criminal defense attorney,
-
divorce and custody cases,
-
residential and commercial landlord tenant cases,
-
debt collection,
-
personal injury cases, including medical malpractice,
-
bankruptcy, and
-
many other types of legal matters.
These days I have chosen to limit my practice - as a matter of geography and practicality – as you will see if you click on the button on the left side of this page entitled “Areas of Practice.”
For those who are interested, I have included a link to my Resume. Just click the “Resume” button on the left side of the page to learn more about my professional background. It probably contains more than you might want to know, however it is there, for those who are interested, to present you with a more rounded picture of who I am and what I have done.
Clicking on the “Info About Me” button on the left side of the page will lead you to some material, case reports, links to newspaper articles and other sources to give you a better understanding of the kinds of work that I have performed, both recently and over the years. I think what I have selected provides some insight into the varied and diverse experience I have and can provide to you in assisting you with your legal matter.

Some say that the hallmark of a respected attorney is the number of cases referred to him by other attorneys. Over the years I have had many cases referred to me, because I have developed a reputation as one who could take on the cases that others thought too difficult. As a result of that reputation, I now frequently receive referrals from other lawyers who tell their clients that they are “too busy to take the case.” In reality, these attorneys are telling their prospective clients they are “too busy” to help them not because their work load is overwhelming, but because they don’t know how to handle the prospective cases.
While referrals from other attorneys are gratifying, I believe the ultimate compliment that one attorney can pay to another is to retain that attorney to represent him in his own legal matter. I am proud of the fact that over the years many attorneys have retained me to handle their civil litigation, including house construction, breach of contract and landlord-tenant cases, as well as their own real estate closings. They have also come to me to represent them in what I consider even more important matters, such as their personal bankruptcies, divorces, and criminal matters, as well as to represent and defend them in the type of case most significant to an attorney who wishes to keep his license to practice law - professional grievance claims.

I am a goal oriented, bottom line person. So, if I were choosing an attorney, the bottom line question for me would be: Don’t I want my attorney to be the attorney other attorneys hire when they want or need legal representation?
If your answer to that question is “yes,” then you will want to consider me when deciding whom to retain to represent your interests.
I have no hidden agenda. I provide the best services I can at a fair cost. If you are interested in learning more call, write or email me. Whatever you choose to do, I thank you for spending your time with me here.
